Moe's night @ Mann has changed to Thursday, February 11th from 5:00 PM til 7:00 PM.  Please join us for a fun night of food & hoops, as our basketball teams host Greenville.

 

Congratulations to our six senior student-athletes who signed national letters of intent on November 11th!  The following Patriots will continue their athletic careers at the next level:  Camille Glymph signed with the Auburn ladies basketball team, Brandon Boggs signed with the Western Carolina men's basketball team, Maria Hesketh signed with the Coastal Carolina ladies tennis program, Hannah Pace signed with the Furman softball team, Robert Landers signed with the Furman baseball program and Olivia Zielinski signed with the Francis Marion softball team.

What is the most important quality you look for in an athlete? Can they swim
Where did you go to college and what did you study? Charleston Southern, University of South Carolina, Furman
What do you do in your free time? Fish
How would you describe yourself in one word? Ethnocentric
Name the person who has influenced you the most and why? Coach McCarthy, My high school football coach. He once told me “There is neither Dream too big, nor a Dreamer too Small.”

If you had one super power, what would it be? To make people Normal

What is your favorite thing about your sport?My favorite thing about softball is my teammates. They have become some of my best friends. And winning, of course!
Where do you want to go to college?I'm attending Furman next year to play softball
What do you do in your free time?In my free time I enjoy reading and spending time with my friends.
How would you describe yourself in one word?motivated
Name the person who has influenced you the most and why?My mom is my greatest influence because she has always encouraged me and pushed me to be the greatest athlete I can be.

If you had one super power, what would it be?to fly! It would be awesome.

How would you describe yourself in one word? Determined
Name the person who has influenced you the most and why? Coach Brian Wilkins, because he has always been there for me throughout high school and pushed me to be the best wrestler I can be.
If you had one super power, what would it be? To be anywhere in the world at any given time.

Blakely Mattern was the 21st pick for the Atlanta Heat soccer team in the draft! We are proud of our former Patriot!

Former Patriot Blakely Mattern, a Senior Soccer star at USC, has been chosen as a top 10 finalist for the Lowe's Senior Class Award for Soccer.
 
Blakely's character and commitment to academics, as well as her leadership on the field, qualified her for this award. 1/3 of the final judging will be decided by fan votes.

Mann soccer duo enjoy homecoming

 Blakely Mattern and Rae Wilson, former soccer teammates at J.L. Mann High School, have been reunited as a senior and freshman, respectively, at the University of South Carolina.
